The Picos

What kind of Pico are you? Are you the type of Pico who just started playing, the rich type or the simple and ordinary type of Pico? Let us see.

  • The Newbies/Beginners - These Picos are just beginning to get familiarize in the world of Ameba Pico. So, it's important for us to welcome them with a special greetings or we could just give them a Props for them to have some gummies as a start. It's easy to recognize a new Pico player. Some hints are:
  1. They had just completed few stars.
  2. They only have few buddies or even more, they don't have buddies yet.
  3. They are wearing (some) default clothes or the free ones.
  4. They don't have a casino card yet.
  5. They don't have much furnitures in their small room.
They are not as good as we are right now but that doesn't mean that we have to humiliate them because they're unfashionable and poor. If you just do the right thing/s through your heart, you can feel that we're all just the same.

  • The Billionaires - Ok, i'm being so exaggerated, let me just say they are the rich ones. The ones who ride in an Escargot ride, those who always get their things/clothes by spinning a Premium Gacha, those who wear so many AG clothes, those who have 4 big rooms, those who have a pet/s and etc. Some of them are snobbish. I don't know why. Do they hate being friends with a simple Pico just because they are a Queen/King of AG? Well.. though some of them are friendly (let's look on the good side)

  • The Event-Makers - Or Joiners. Whichever. But wait, these Picos so love events! Fashion-shows, Making Friends, Food/Ring/Props Parties, Hotels, Spa/Salon and even sex. Though sometimes, those Food/Ring/Props event makers are just putting lots of foods inside their room while the drooling Picos are blocked and cannot enter and sometimes, the owners are kicking them out after they rang and props him/her. Like the first time i entered this kind of event where the owner has lots of foods inside her room but she was telling us that she will open the blockers if we're going to ring and props her first. So, some of them were really irritated that time that only the three of us waiting left. I was just quiet, not saying a thing but the owner was starting to let us do a crazy thing! She wanted us to count up to 30! I was thinking, "what the h*ll!" Then the two other waiting girls started to count up to 30. I was feeling so bad and pity that they just wanted some foods and gummies! So i finally spoke up and told them, "Stop counting! You're like a fool doing such a thing! We all just want gummies but we don't have to do that kind of thing for the owner's satisfaction!" Good thing, the two girls listened to me and finally the owner let us in. Phew! I felt like a savior for a day.

  • The Non-English speakers - Some of them are Japanese and some cannot just speak English. Let's have some patience and try to understand them. Because i know and (i think) you all know that these Picos are trying their very best to speak English well. :)

  • The Bullies- They are the one who humiliates us or other Picos. They judge us or other Picos based on our/their fashion style or physical appearance. I see one bully in Ameba Pico (as for now), i don't know what's his/her gender because he/she wears girly clothes but has a masculine face. He/She is from Japan but he/she speaks English sometimes and when he/she speaks English, don't expect him/her to say nice things because all he/she gonna say are bad words. Like, "F***, Assh*** and many other words/phrases". Like earlier, he/she wants the pico to say sorry for him/her. How awful. I don't think he/she is a hacker, he/she just wants to bully others.

  • The Bloggers - Like me! I see many Pico bloggers in the world but that doesn't mean we get a lot of attention, we're just simple Pico too like everyone else.

  • The Ordinary Picos - Yay! These are the Picos who play simply and opening their Pico daily to get their everyday-scratch card and do their everyday routines. They hang-out with their friends and doesn't bully anyone. They are simple, that's all.

HAVE A HAPPY PICO LIFE! :)

Happy (Pico) Life II

Just like what i've said, if there's a happy (pico) life, there is also happy (pico) life II ☺ If you haven't read the first issue, you can always read it anytime. ☺

4 ways to put a smile on someone's face

Surprise, surprise - write a tumblr post about why you think your pal's cool or send a handwritten letter in the mail and resist the urge to spill.
Say it with a song - e-mail an mp3 of a happy song that reminds you of her, or send a youtube link to the song's video with a comment from you mentioning her name.
Dish out a compliment - telling someone she's lost weight, or telling your crush his jokes as always cracks you up is a sencere and heartfelt way to make them feel good about themselves.
Make a mental note - bring up a cute tidbit you picked up from a conversation from far back. *It will you show you pay attention to details, and give importance to what your friend says, no matter how random!*

How to write better stories

Explore - keep your eyes peeled. Inspiration can come from anywhere.
Read - exposing yourself to many writing styles can help you come up with one that's uniquely yours.
Create - once you start writing, just keep going, let all your ideas flow.
Revise - your first draft doesn't have to be perfect. Start small and don't be afraid to make changes every step of the way.
Proofread - always check your work for possible mistakes in grammar and spelling. It might help if you ask a mentor or a friend to read your work as well.

4 ways to de-clutter your room

Make a "Throw, Keep, Give" pile - seperating your stash into these categories will make organizing so much easier
Sort things out - creating groupings can give a shelf or closet instant visual appeal.
Don't fear disposing - battle your inner pack rat and give yourself a serious talking-to. Have you used the item in the last six months? In the last year? If it's just been sitting in your closet, it's about time you make room for something new.
Make time - rome wasn't built in a day and neither are clean rooms. It took a while for you room to get as messy as it is now, and it's going to take as much time(if not a little more) to get it back in tiptop shape.

Happy (Pico) Life

I would like to thank Candy Magazine Company for sharing with us their advices on our daily life(whether in ameba pico or in our personal one)

How to find your personal style:
1) Familiarize yourself with trends through nagazines and websites. Pick out one or two trends you like the most and incorporate  that into your existing wardrobe.
2) Shop for styles that push your boundaries. Make sure these pieces work with the rest of your clothes and try to create different looks each time you wear them.
3) Experiment with different brands.

*You don't have to have an extremely polished look, but hair, nails and even your scent are important factors in appearing put-together.

Tips to stand out online:
1) Play the name game. Your username sums up the online persona you want to have and is a fun way to get creative.
2) Customize. Stand out means having particular look that's ALL YOURS.
3) Be who you are. Make your tweets relevant and intteresting, don't update your FB statues every five mintues and keep your cam whore shots to a minimum.
4) Stay interesting. Try not to be too negative online. Bloggers who do nothing but rant all day can turn people off.
5) Write what you know. Don't try too hard to impress people. Staying true to yourself makes you more REMARKABLE.

Improve your self-confidence in 3 minutes.
Smile - Look in the mirror and flash yourself the most dazzling smile you can muster.
Give yourself a mantra - repeat a confidence-boosting sentence to yourself, such as "I can do this!"
Hold on to a lucky charm - a special pebble in your pocket may not have any superpowers, but being able to grasp something concrete can ground you and give you energy.

Better wait for the Happy (Pico) Life II which contains:

  • 4 ways to put a smile on someone's face
  • How to write better stories (for journalists and for bloggers like me)
  • 4 ways to de-clutter your room

=) Until next time..
